Troop 458 is sponsored by St. Philip Episcopal Church in the Davies Plantation area near Lakeland, Tennessee.
Troop 458 has been chartered to St. Philip for more than twenty years. The troop’s program, determined and led by its youth members under the direction of its Scoutmaster and assistant Scoutmasters, includes weekly meetings, monthly camping trips and other outings, an annual summer camp at Kia Kima Scout Reservation along with periodic high adventure activities, including Philmont Scout Ranch, Florida Seabase and the Northern Tier Canoe Base. Many of our Scouts have also participated in BSA National Jamborees.
If you are considering a troop home, there is room for you at Troop 458. In addition, there are many opportunities for parental involvement. It takes a team to support the Scouting program.
Please contact us for more information or visit one of our weekly meetings on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.
